Interior Designer / Interior Decorator, About the Role
We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Interior Designer/Decorator with a strong eye for colour, materials, furniture, and styling. Beyond technical skill, you understand how finishes, lighting, and furniture come together to create timeless spaces, and you can develop cohesive concepts acrossresidential, hospitality, commercial, and mixed-use projects. You're as comfortable choosing a paintcolour as sourcing the right lounge chair, preparing finish schedules, or building a client presentation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop interior design concepts for residential, hospitality, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
Create colour palettes and finish selections that balance aesthetics, durability, maintenance, and budget.
Curate furniture, lighting, artwork, and décor packages.
Prepare mood boards, material boards, finish schedules, FF&E; packages,
and product specifications.
Stay current with design trends, products, and manufacturers. Support site visits, showroom visits, and installation reviews to ensure design intent is achieved.
Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
3+ years in interior design or decoration (preferred).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office (Revit an asset).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
