As a key player within NCC’s team, the Stewardship Coordinator will work full time over a 15-month contract, focusing on ecological stewardship in BC's Interior. Your role will involve coordinating monitoring activities, managing habitats, and collaborating with Indigenous communities to advance conservation initiatives. You will ensure effective stewardship aligns with NCC's policies and positively impacts local ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:



• Lead conservation activities across BC’s Interior Program Area • Monitor annual inspections of conservation lands • Coordinate restoration and invasive species management plans • Build relationships with Indigenous nations and stakeholders • Support the annual reporting and budgeting processes

Requirements: • Undergraduate degree in a related field • Experience with conservation project management • Solid communication and relationship-building skills • Knowledge of BC interior landscapes and conservation issues • Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
