We have over 100 stores with individual Avaya PBX with centrally managed SIP on premise in our Pickering Head Office campus.

Role Overview

This is a full time in-office position within Pickering Ontario.

Experience with Avaya IPOffice 500 v2 systems, phones and SIP communications

Onsite position providing support for voicemail, connectivity, routing and moves/adds/changes.

Responsible for availability, stability, and continuous improvement of telephone connectivity.

Acts as an escalation point for business-critical telecom issues

Solid problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent customer service and communication skills, robust organizational and time management abilities





Ability to work independently in high-pressure settings

Some travel may be necessary.

Responsibilities

End-to-end implementation and support of SIP Trunks

Administration and upgrades of Avaya IPOffice PBX, Voicemail servers and Grandstream PBX systems.

SIP infrastructure support: have knowledge of Session border controllers, AudioCodes, and network routing. Ability to support SIP circuits.

Provide remote operational support and maintenance for national telephone systems through local staff and vendors.

Bilingual (French/English) an asset
