Brandt Truck & Trailers is seeking an individual to fill the position of Heavy Duty Technician in our Nisku location for a night shift (Monday - Thursday, 2:00 PM-12:30 AM). This position will be responsible for performing mechanical repair and maintenance of trucks and trailers.

Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct or assist the Journeyman with CVIP inspections
Troubleshoot major and minor mechanical problems
Ability to repair and adjust mechanical components
Complete written and oral work orders
Repair and adjust truck drive lines, engines and any other necessary mechanical components
Diagnose and determine the nature and extent of repairs
Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques.
Other mechanical repair work and duties as required
LI-onsite

Required Skills
Completion of College/vocational technical training
1+ years as a heavy duty mechanic apprentice, specifically with drive lines/air systems including schematics and diagnostics
Possess a valid driver’s license
Ability to communication both verbally and written
Robust attention to detail
Able to work well under pressure
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
