Assess stability and control characteristics of aircraftPrepare and support wind tunnelPlan and support flight test and simulation followed by required analyses and documentationAnalyze and process simulation and flight test dataPlan and conduct desktop or pilot‑in‑the‑loop simulations to assess the aircraft handling qualities due to design and/or model changes, for certification, or problem investigations with potential improvementsWrite and review reports which demonstrate flight characteristic compliance with airworthiness regulationsProvide support to aircraft production and in‑flight qualification for aerodynamics and aircraft handling related issues and non‑conformitiesSupport the development and modification to flight simulation modelsDefine high level aircraft design requirements (handling qualities, sensors, actuators etc.)Qualifications
You hold a bachelor’s, master’s,



or PhD degree in Aerospace EngineeringYou must have a minimum of 12 years of pertinent experience in the field of aircraft stability and controlThe candidate has a valuable understanding of aircraft flight dynamics and aerodynamics along with a basic understanding of aeroelasticity, aircraft design, aircraft structures/systemsThe candidate familiar with airworthiness regulations is an assetThe candidate possesses positive programming skills.Knowledge of Windows and UNIX operating system environments, Matlab/Simulink, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint is an asset.The candidate has good written and oral communication skillsBenefits
