AECOM Buildings + Places, AECOM’s Architectural business, seeks an Architectural technologist to join our team based in Burnaby with remote/hybrid flexibility. This is a newly created role.Responsibilities
Perform basic architectural/engineering calculationsPrepare specifications, reports and related data tablesMaintain liaison with design and drafting groupsPrepare, review, and approve drawings as requiredUnder supervision, complete design assignments of moderate to high complexityFamiliarity with codes, permits, and software applications related to the disciplineLearn the process of preparing designs and drawings using project specifications and discipline‐associated instructions in accordance with design practices, standards, and proceduresUnderstand the purpose and use of vendor documentsPerform material take‑offs for the disciplineQualifications
Required:Post‑secondary education + Six (6)



years of experience as or demonstrated equivalence of experience and/or educationPreferred qualifications:More than ten years of experience as a Registered Architect with the OAA;
experience with science& technology laboratories and facilitiesLEED certification and familiarity with AIA/AIBC/OAQProficiency in Revit, BIM, MS Office, Adobe Suite, and robust communication skillsAdditional Information
