Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate a truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations
Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or other heavy equipment
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the truck to ensure its secure operation
Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving, including maintaining accurate records of hours driven and rest periods
Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise

Experience:
Minimum of [X] years of experience as a truck driver, preferably in a commercial driving capacity
Proficient in operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts, to load and unload cargo
Familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance procedures to address minor issues that may arise during transport
Strong knowledge of freight transportation regulations and best practices for safe handling of goods

Skills:
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)



with a clean driving record
Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner
Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with dispatchers and team members
Robust problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during transport
Attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with regulations
