As a Substation Studies Engineer at Jacobs, you'll engage in comprehensive power system analyses to support substation planning and design.
This role requires a minimum of four years of direct experience and a strong background in power system modeling tools. You'll be a key contributor to ensuring that substations are effective and compliant with industry standards. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct insulation coordination and arc flash studies
Review and validate power system models
Prepare reports and present findings to stakeholders
Support substation design and engineering projects
Collaborate on multi-phase systems studies
Requirements:
Degree in electrical engineering from accredited institution
Minimum 4 years’ experience in relevant studies
Familiarity with ETAP, SKM, and PSCAD
Knowledge of industry standards such as IEC and IEEE
Solid communication and teamwork abilities
