AgeCare is seeking a temporary full-time Health Care Aide to join our dedicated staff in Calgary. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse, ensuring the highest standards of resident care. Key responsibilities include personal hygiene assistance, meal support, and facilitating mobility for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with bathing, showering, and personal hygiene
• Transfer residents using lifts and safe handling techniques
• Support feeding during meal times according to diet plans




• Provide routine treatments as directed by nursing staff
• Accompany residents to dining and recreational activities
Requirements:
• One year of experience in a care setting preferred
• Completion of a recognized Personal Care Aide Certificate
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Active registration with CLHA required
• Post-secondary education is an asset
