Saskatchewan Polytechnic is seeking a full time Simulation Technician for its Saskatoon Campus. This role emphasizes technical support and event delivery within the Interprofessional Simulation Learning Centre.
This position requires robust collaboration with faculty to produce and deliver simulation events while managing equipment and facilities. A background in health education, particularly as a Nurse or Paramedic, is vital. The technician will also assist in data entry and maintain records for reporting purposes, making excellent organizational skills essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver and produce simulation events for various programs • Collaborate on data entry and scenario development • Prepare and manage simulation equipment technical needs • Support Nursing and Health Science simulations • Establish relationships with educational and healthcare specialists
Requirements: • Post-secondary health education program graduation • Two years experience in a healthcare or education setting • Intermediate level in MS Office suite • Knowledge of simulation practices and medical terminology • Effective communication and organizational abilities
