This position is based in the Greater Edmonton, Alberta area.

The Payroll Specialist will support endtoend payroll processing and act as a key point of contact for employee payroll and benefits inquiries.

The role reports directly to the Payroll Manager and works alongside a collaborative and growing payroll team.

This position is ideal for a payroll professional with a strong understanding of payroll fundamentals, solid technical skills, and exceptional attention to detail, who is comfortable working with field-based employees in a fastpaced environment.

Payroll Processing Process weekly, multiprovincial Canadian payroll Ensure payroll is completed accurately and on time using Review, validate,



and troubleshoot electronic timesheets Support payroll job costing requirements Assist with payroll reconciliations and balancing Ensure compliance with provincial payroll legislation Benefits Administration & Reconciliations Complete regular benefits reconciliations Respond to frequent employee inquiries related to perks coverage and deductions Support advantage enrollments, changes, and terminations Liaise with internal teams and advantages providers as required Employee Support & Inquiries Serve as a primary contact for payroll- and benefits-related employee questions Provide clear, professional, and timely responses to inquiries Work closely with employees in operational and field-based roles Systems & Process Support Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records Assist with payroll audits, reporting, and year-end activities Identify discrepancies and escalate issues as appropriate Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within payroll processes
