Key tasks include drafting policies based on thorough research, liaising with Canadian Securities Administrators, and analyzing market structure changes. The position requires both independent initiative and effective collaboration with CIRO teams. Key Responsibilities:
Draft recent and revised policies on market integrity
Liaise with the Canadian Securities Administrators on regulations
Analyze domestic and international marketplace operations
Represent CIRO in meetings with stakeholders and regulatory bodies
Provide timely support to various CIRO divisions
Requirements:
Law Degree with active Bar membership in Canada
5–10 years’ experience in securities regulations
Familiarity with policy development processes
Robust analytical, communication, and writing skills
Knowledge of trading practices and securities legislation
Utilize your legal acumen and experience to lead policy initiatives at CIRO.
