Areas of Accountability
Perform basic services: fire extinguishers, fire alarms, emergency lights and sprinkler systems, adhering to regulations, Fire Code and Municipality guidelines
Install and maintain various types of fire protection systems at customer sites
Troubleshoot and provide solutions to service-related problems
Participate in mandatory safety training and industry certifications
Conduct site-specific training for owners and end users
Complete inspection reports, associated deficiency quotes, material and labour documents.
Provide solutions and recommendations to customers on the most effective and cost-effective services
Inspect, service and troubleshoot existing systems
Maintain proper handling/care of testing/inspections tools, equipment, and materials
Answer and address emergency calls (after-hours and on weekends)
Deliver excellent customer service while performing quality inspections.
Perform code-compliant inspections of addressable and conventional systems
Understand and practice applicable NFPA codes and standards
Submit applicable forms and reports as per EFP policy, using various programs
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures set by Escape Fire Protection.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license
ASTTBC endorsements (AL, EM, EX, WA) are required
