Summary of Duties: The Part time Cleaner participates as an active team member by: Providing a secure, healthy and comfortable setting for all building occupants in accordance with currentcaretaking cleaning standards.

Maintaining a co-operative working relationship with the Principal, academic and support staff and all other members of the school community.

Performing caretaking duties including operating heating and ventilation equipment; pool maintenance; servicing washrooms; receiving and delivering supplies; lifting; climbing; floor cleaning; mopping; moving furniture; relamping; lunch room program duties; grounds cleaning and maintenance including grass cutting, snow and ice removal, maintenance to grounds, garbage removal; operating heavy powered cleaning equipment; etc.

Maintaining appropriate records as required.

Performing special duties as may be assigned by the Facility Team Leader, Caretaking Team Leader or Regional Manager.

Inspecting/identifying deficiencies and/or hazards.
