Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst for a full-time role based in Montreal, QC.

This role focuses on the consolidation and reporting of financial results across multiple entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in compliance with ASPE.

You will contribute to the preparation of consolidated financial statements, management reporting, variance analysis, audit support, and other group-level reporting activities. The role may also involve exposure to technical accounting matters, forecasting, and financial reporting requirements for internal and external stakeholders.

This is also an prospect to contribute to the improvement and modernization of consolidation and reporting processes, including system enhancements, automation, and the ongoing implementation of an EPM solution.

The ideal candidate brings solid financial reporting and consolidation experience, sound accounting knowledge, and an interest in improving processes and systems.

Qualifications
Strong experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and multi-entity accounting




Solid knowledge of ASPE and consolidated financial statement preparation
Experience with intercompany eliminations, business combinations, variance analysis, financial covenants, and audit support
Experience assessing complex or non-routine accounting transactions and preparing related documentation or technical memos
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
Experience with consolidation and EPM tools such as CCH Tagetik or Hyperion is an asset
Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset
CPA designation, or actively working toward the designation, preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a quick-paced environment
