Elevate community relations as the Director for Toronto Hydro in Toronto, ON. This hybrid role provides strategic leadership in stakeholder engagement and public consultation to strengthen community ties.

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing & Public Affairs, the Director will lead community engagement initiatives aligned with organizational objectives and infrastructure plans. With a focus on building relationships with diverse stakeholders, you will navigate complex issues while enhancing transparency within Toronto Hydro’s operations. Your strategic vision will guide community consultations and resolve sensitive issues impacting organizational reputation.

Key Responsibilities:



• Develop community engagement strategies aligned with corporate objectives • Build relationships with community organizations and stakeholders • Lead public consultations and outreach initiatives • Provide strategic advice on community issues to senior management • Manage inquiries, complaints, and sensitive community issues

Requirements: • Post-secondary education in relevant fields • Minimum ten (10) years in community engagement roles • Five (5) years of leadership experience • Familiarity with infrastructure project environments • Solid project management and communication skills
