Rakuten Kobo is seeking a Fraud Lead for a 12-month contract in Toronto. Lead the charge against e-commerce fraud by managing detection engines and analyzing fraud trends.
In this full time position, you will be pivotal in reducing fraudulent activities on our platform. You should have a minimum of five years’ experience as a Fraud Analyst, alongside proven abilities in payment gateway management. Your solid analytical aptitude will help in the ongoing monitoring and improvement of fraud detection strategies and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily monitoring of fraud detection engines
• Create custom rules to optimize fraud detection processes
• Formulate a holistic strategy for improving account security
• Review industry trends for potential fraud detection solutions
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
• Over five years of experience in fraud analysis
• Experienced in managing fraud detection rules
• Robust knowledge of payment flows and transactions
• Analytical skills to uncover fraud trends
• Proficiency in Python or SQL for data management
