About the Family We''re a family with a newborn son (currently 5 weeks old) looking for a warm, reliable mother''s helper / nanny to support our household during the day.

Mom is currently home full time and handling all of baby''s care solo our goal is to bring in dedicated help so she can rest, eat properly, shower, run errands, and get a break, while you take the lead on caring for baby during your hours here.

Schedule Flexible and part time this is not a fixed 5-day-a-week role.

Days and hours will vary week to week based on our needs, for example: - Some days: full 8-hour shifts - Other days: shorter 4-hour blocks Schedule to be discussed and set collaboratively, with reasonable advance notice We''re looking for someone who can offer consistent weekly availability even if the exact hours shift, and who''s comfortable with a schedule that isn''t identical every week.

Responsibilities - Take primary hands-on care of baby during your shift (feeding, diapering, soothing, tummy time, naps) - Allow Mom to fully step back during your hours this is the core purpose of the role - Light baby-related tidying (bottles, laundry, baby''s space) - Communicate clearly about feeding times, naps,



and anything noteworthy during your shift Requirements - Own transportation public transit is not a practical option for our location, so you must be able to commute to and from our home - Current CPR / infant first-aid certification (required) - Experience caring for newborns/infants (qualified or extensive personal experience) - Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain one) - Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with a flexible/variable schedule - Comfortable communicating openly with parents about baby''s day Nice to Have - Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) designation - Experience with newborns who had a NICU stay or early arrival - References from families with infants To Apply Please send: - A brief introduction about yourself and your childcare experience - Confirmation of CPR certification and access to a vehicle - Two references we can contact - General availability (which days/hours typically work for you) We''re looking to meet candidates soon and will arrange a paid trial shift before finalizing.
