As part of the Rail & Transit Project team, you will manage soil characterizations and develop Excess Soils Management Plans. Collaborating closely with contractors, you will oversee logistics for soil reuse while ensuring all activities align with provincial regulations. Your leadership will foster teamwork within specialized areas of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead assessments and review previous soil investigations
• Coordinate owner and contractor soil management registrations
• Develop and implement effective soil reuse strategies
• Confirm compliance with Ontario excess soils regulations
• Oversee environmental documentation throughout the project
Requirements:
• 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Degree in environmental engineering or related discipline
• Certification as P.Geo or P.Eng required
• Proficiency in Ontario Environmental Regulations
• Experience with groundwater and site assessments
