AFIMAC Canada is seeking experienced Supervisors for upcoming assignments related to labour disruptions, organized protests and man made crisis/disasters.
This position will require you to work 12 hour shifts, 7 days per week when assigned to a project.
You will earn:
$25 per hour before over-time
Up to $5,200 bi-weekly (based on 84 hour work week)
Paid travel up to 4 hours
Hotel accommodation provided when required
$30 per day meal allowance when lodging is required
Temporary Contracts: 1-120 days
AFIMAC Supervisors are deployed to various types of assignments including:
Labour Disruptions
Organized protests
Man made crisis/disasters (crime scenes, structural fires, etc.)
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
To be eligible to work for AFIMAC you must be able to meet the following criteria:
Supervisory or leadership experience in the Security field
Former military, emergency management, project management or law enforcement experience an asset
Flexibility and willingness to travel to projects for extended periods of time
Ability to work 84 hours per week:
12 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
Excellent organization and computer skills
Able to work in a high stress workplace
Robust leadership and problem-solving skills
Able to deploy on short notice (as projects dictate)
Able to manage investigators and security personnel deployed in the field.
Ability to train, motivate and improve staff performance
Ability to professionally manage staff conflicts
Ability to work with a diverse group of staff
Clean criminal record
Valid drivers license and vehicle
Experience:
Previous supervisory experience in the security field preferred
