Cementation seeks a Contracts Specialist in North Bay, ON, with a hybrid work schedule. Your expertise in contract drafting and negotiation will be key in this full time role.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Contracts Specialist will play a critical role in reviewing and drafting various contracts, advising on complex issues, and managing claims. This position requires a proactive individual with a solid background in the mining, engineering, and construction sectors. Your collaboration will be vital to ensure compliance and mitigate risks through effective mentoring and communication.

Key Responsibilities:
• Draft qualifications and amendments for mining contracts
• Review client contractual terms for submissions




• Participate in negotiations to resolve issues
• Coordinate with teams to ensure compliance
• Assist in drafting joint venture agreements

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Law
• Minimum of 8 years relevant experience
• Knowledge of FIDIC or NEC contracts preferred
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
