As a licensed Heavy Equipment Operator, you will contribute to the North Warning System by maintaining roads and runways, while also performing critical inspections on a variety of heavy machinery. Your expertise will ensure protected passage across remote northern terrain, making a meaningful impact on operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy equipment including loaders, dozers, and trucks
• Maintain roads and gravel surfaces for safe navigation
• Perform daily inspections of vehicles and equipment
• Assist in Mobile Support Equipment maintenance and repairs
• Respond to environmental emergencies at the site
Requirements:
• Licensed Heavy Equipment Operator with Air Brake Certification
• Experience with heavy machinery operation and maintenance
• Solid problem-solving and documentation skills
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
• Willing to travel for supportive site operations
