Full-stack Developer (Business Systems Analyst)(12-18 months)

As a Full-stack Developer, you will:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Microsoft.NET and Azure to modernize city systems and improve citizen services
- Integrate and enhance enterprise systems such as the City's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Revenue and Asset Management Systems
- Transform digital processes with a focus on automation and reuse
- Stay up to date with current trends and technologies, keeping the City at the forefront of innovation
- Drive adoption of the Microsoft Power Platform, establishing standards and best practices to ensure scalable, maintainable solutions across departments
- Work in an Agile team to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions that align with the City's strategic goals for operational efficiency and innovation

Qualifications

- A four-year bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- 5+ years' experience with .NET and Azure
- Proven cloud expertise in Azure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Extensive experience with the Power Platform
- Familiarity with microservices and modular architecture to support integrated solutions
- Strong understanding of IoT, RPA, and automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices for streamlined solution delivery

This is a CUPE bargaining unit position with employer-paid comprehensive benefits, an earned day off program, 3 weeks paid vacation and one of Canada's top pension plans along with an hourly rate starting at $52.69 per hour.
