Assist youth in achieving independence as an Independent Living Transition Coach. Utilize a strength-based, trauma-informed approach to facilitate skill development and resilience.
In this role, you will focus on mentoring youth, particularly those facing trauma and other barriers to independence. Your responsibilities include coaching on financial literacy and household management, while providing support in accessing education and community resources. Collaborating with individuals to set personalized goals is essential for fostering their self-sufficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coach in budgeting and household management
• Support youth with meal planning and education
• Help access housing and healthcare resources
• Develop and monitor personalized transition plans
• Maintain detailed electronic records
Requirements:
• Two years’ experience with vulnerable populations
• Preferred certification in Human Services or related field
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications
• Knowledge of strengths-based approaches
• Class 5F Driver’s License and reliable transport
