As an Occasional Teacher for Spanish at the Secondary School level, you will contribute to the delivery of the International Languages curriculum. This part time role includes developing course materials and identifying student learning needs to enhance outcomes. Your responsibilities will vary from in-class instruction to student evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement the Spanish curriculum for Grade 9-12
• Develop and adapt course materials
• Utilize engaging language-learning strategies
• Evaluate and report student progress
• Ensure a safe and welcoming learning environment
Requirements:
• Ontario College of Teachers Certificate
• Fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, speaking)
• Eligible to work in Canada
• Available for classes on Wednesday evenings
• Must complete a Police Vulnerable Sector Screening
