Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School in Vancouver, WA is seeking qualified applicants for a part-time Preschool Lead Teacher for the school year . We are looking for caring, energetic educators who love working with young children and desire to support their academic, social-emotional, and spiritual growth in a faith-filled environment. Our preschool program serves 3 and 4 year old students, who are sometimes coming to school for the first time. Ideal candidates are warm, dependable, and collaborative, with a heart for early childhood education and solid partnerships with families.

Willingness to grow with a developing preschool program and contribute long-term.

Responsibilities

- Planning and leading developmentally appropriate, play-based preschool instruction
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment




- Differentiating instruction to support a range of learners and developmental needs
- Establishing consistent routines and positive classroom culture
- Communicating effectively and warmly with parents and guardians
- Collaborating closely with instructional staff and administration
- Supporting the Catholic mission of the school through age-appropriate faith formation

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Early Childhood Education (Preschool or Pre-K)
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs (special education background a plus)
- Familiarity with Washington State early learning standards (preferred)
- Practicing Catholic preferred; respect for and alignment with Catholic education required

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $19.50 – $20.50 , based on experience, internal equity, and role responsibilities.
