General Fusion is seeking two skilled Diagnostic Engineers to enhance its innovative diagnostics team. This role emphasizes hands-on experimental work, optical measurement systems, and collaborative problem-solving within a leading R&D; setting. You will contribute to cutting-edge projects focused on monitoring lithium liner compression in revolutionary fusion experiments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design advanced optical diagnostic systems and measurement techniques
• Prototype, optimize, and calibrate metrology systems
• Introduce emerging optical technologies for better diagnostics




• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners
• Document experimental procedures and analysis results thoroughly

Requirements:
• M.Sc. or PhD in Engineering Physics or Applied Physics
• Minimum 3 years in experimental physics lab or R&D;
• Solid experience with lasers and optical systems
• Proficient in Python programming for data analysis
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
