Join PH Mental Health & Addiction Services in Port Hardy as a Mental Health and Addictions Nurse. This full time role emphasizes a bio-psychosocial approach in withdrawal management and client care.

As a key member of the Vancouver Island Health Authority, you'll provide care across various settings, from detox to community outreach. This position requires up to two years of experience with addictions and concurrent disorders, reflecting your holistic nursing skills. You will guide clients through withdrawal phases while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality in care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct holistic assessments to plan and implement care
• Provide support in detox, stabilization, and in-home settings




• Utilize knowledge of community resources for client care
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and staff
• Facilitate group sessions and demonstrate leadership qualities

Requirements:
• Registered with BC College of Nurses as RN or RPN
• Up to two years relevant experience in addiction treatment
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Valid BC Driver's License required
• NVCI certification within three months of employment
