As an Automation Technician reporting to the Maintenance Team, you'll support production efficiency and continuous improvement at TG Minto. We're seeking skilled professionals with experience in mechanical or electrical systems, particularly in automation concepts. Your proactive problem-solving skills will help maintain operational stability and enhance system recovery times.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain backup information for SCADA, PLCs, and robots
• Troubleshoot control strategies for new and used systems
• Integrate new equipment into the production line
• Support wiring and electrical design for in-house projects
• Conduct regular safety and procedural compliance checks
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant mechanical/electrical experience
• Proficient in SCADA and PLC programming
• OACETT certification is an asset
• Solid English communication skills with team members
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
