Join Maamwesying North Shore Community Health Services as a float Registered Practical Nurse at the HART Hub and drive community healthcare forward. This position emphasizes direct clinical support and collaboration.
In this full time role, you'll operate within the full scope of nursing practice under the supervision of the HART Hub Regional Manager. Your experience in addictions, community health, and mental health will be invaluable as you deliver compassionate care to First Nation and Aboriginal populations while participating in comprehensive service evaluation and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver clinical care addressing individual health needs
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team in service implementation
• Implement health promotions on addiction and drug awareness
• Support crisis intervention and trauma-informed practices
• Evaluate and adjust healthcare services based on community feedback
Requirements:
• Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing and current registration
• Certification in CPR and First Aid
• Experience in related community service settings
• Familiarity with addiction issues and holistic health concepts
• Reliable vehicle and valid G Class driver’s license
