This role at the Indigenous Student Centre emphasizes supporting Indigenous students through skilled case management and systems navigation. Collaborate with staff and external agencies to ensure holistic support tailored to each student's unique situation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage intake and follow-up for Indigenous students
• Offer consultative support to students, staff, and faculty
• Ensure accurate documentation of student interactions
• Collaborate with ISC team to support student plans
• Follow cases through their resolution for optimal outcomes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Nursing, or related field
• Three years minimum experience in student support
• Proven record with diverse student groups
• Experience in community resource referrals
• Competence in crisis intervention training
