POSITION TYPE FULL TIME Key Responsibilities: Ensure program staff are supported, and provide leadership to the Walking Stick team Must be able to understand and work towards program goals, identify needs and implement plans for program development Provide support to resource and support teams Addressing staff issues, onboarding and integration of recent hires in collaboration with the Human Resources Manager Addressing staff and participant conflicts Collaboratively assign new participants to the most suitable Case Worker or Case Manager, based on individual needs and team capacity Work directly with participants, families, and collateral contacts to enhance life and outcomes for program participants Advocate for and actively promote the mission, vision, and values of Oshki-Giizhig in all interactions and program activities Qualifications: Post-secondary degree in Social Work, Social Justice, Indigenous Studies, Health Sciences, Human Services,



or a related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Experience in a senior leadership or management role.

Knowledge of The Vulnerable Persons Act and other relevant legislation.

Extensive clinical experience and a strong understanding of trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices.

Knowledge of Indigenous cultures, traditions, and approaches to care and support.

Experience leading teams in a dynamic, quick-paced environment.

Knowledge of disabilities, developmental disorders, and mental health challenges.

Valid driver''s license and access to reliable transportation.

Additional Requirements: Criminal Record Check (With Vulnerable Sector Search), Adult Abuse Registry Check, Child Abuse Registry Check.
