VTT, a community Jewish day school serving a student body from ages 3 to 13, is currently recruiting Classroom Aides on Call. This is a great chance to get to know our school, our campus, our culture and our incredible community! Candidates need not be Jewish, but must be receptive and open to working in a Jewish day school environment.
Qualifications:
Experience or training working with children in a classroom setting.
Experience working in a school setting.
Formal education/training is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to the following:
Work with students in an inclusive classroom setting as well as on an individual or small group basis
Support students in a variety of subject areas with planning, organization and time management
Maintain student records, follow IEP recommendations, and review strategies
Prepare additional resources and materials to support students with learning differences
Work with classroom teachers to help them understand the needs of students
