Join the Attorney General's Office as a Fall Law Clerk in St. Paul, Minnesota. This full-time position offers law students the chance to engage directly in legal research and document drafting.
We are seeking motivated law students for our Fall 2026 Law Clerk program. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced Assistant Attorneys General, focusing on document review, legal issue research, and court appearances. Applicants must be available for a hybrid work model, contributing 20 hours weekly over ten to twelve weeks starting in September.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review legal documents for compliance and accuracy
• Conduct thorough research on various legal issues
• Draft written products for attorney review
• Appear in court and observe proceedings
• Manage files and maintain organized documentation
Requirements:
• Current law student in positive standing
• Solid academic credentials and writing skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative workplace
• Excellent judgment and work ethic
• Writing sample submission of up to five pages
