In this pivotal role, you will join WSP’s Rail & Transit team, reporting to the Manager of Rail Systems Engineering. Your responsibilities include developing signal systems for both Communications Based Train Control and traditional relay-based systems. You'll analyze complex data and mentor junior engineers, ensuring secure and effective rail operations across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and analyze signal systems for rail projects
• Prepare detailed technical specifications and procurement documents
• Perform checks on designs from the team and third-party sources
• Create compliant signaling schemes using industry knowledge
• Interact with clients to resolve technical issues
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Railway Signaling
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MicroStation
• Solid knowledge of CROR and AREMA standards
• Proven ability in team collaboration and report writing
