Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate out-of-province mobilization of firefighting staff
• Direct operations at the Provincial Wildfire Coordination Center during peak seasons
• Assist in creating comprehensive wildfire operational plans
• Lead and maintain the effectiveness of the Incident Management Team
• Represent Nova Scotia in national and international wildfire efforts
Requirements:
• Bachelor's level diploma in forestry or a related discipline
• At least six years in wildfire management roles
• Proven experience in leadership and team management
