Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide friendly assistance with over-the-counter products and prescription pickups
Support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately according to prescriptions
Manage inventory by restocking shelves, checking expiry dates, and maintaining organized storage areas
Assist in processing prescriptions through data entry systems while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
Educate customers on medication usage, store policies, and available health products to enhance their experience
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area to meet health and safety standards
Handle customer inquiries professionally via face-to-face interactions or phone calls, directing complex questions to the pharmacist as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in pharmacy assistance or related field is a plus
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Exceptional communication skills to engage confidently with diverse customers
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations, medications, or healthcare products is advantageous
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads when necessary
