Join St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton as a Core Laboratory Senior Technologist and take the lead in laboratory testing. This full time role focuses on Hematology and Chemistry at Charlton Campus.

You will report directly to the Core Laboratory Manager and be responsible for performing diverse lab tests, managing workflow, and teaching medical residents and students. With a minimum of three years’ experience, your advanced technical expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining quality assurance standards and facilitating major departmental projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule and monitor lab staff workflow effectively
• Maintain and troubleshoot lab instruments
• Coordinate QA activities in the laboratory




• Implement recent technologies and methodologies
• Support technical staff with testing operations

Requirements:
• Certification from Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Sciences
• Minimum three years of experience in Core Laboratory
• Solid leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with IQMH Quality Management System
