The Saskatchewan Indigenous Cultural Centre is looking for a Manager to guide its Languages Department. This leadership role demands a minimum of five years in education or related fields, alongside solid supervisory experience. You will oversee language resources, liaise with community partners, and ensure adherence to First Nations cultures and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and guide Languages Department team members
• Create and assess curriculum materials and learning resources
• Organize events and engage with educational stakeholders
• Manage budgets, timelines, and departmental reporting
• Ensure all initiatives respect First Nations cultural practices
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in education or language revitalization
• Five years of skilled experience in relevant roles
• Two years of management or supervisory experience
• Commitment to learning a Saskatchewan First Nations language
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
