Senior Estimator / Chief Estimator ICI Construction Location: Woodbridge / GTA, ON Salary: $130K$180K+, depending on experience Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent I am working with an established ICI general contractor that is looking to add a Senior Estimator or Chief Estimator to their team.

This would be a good prospect for an experienced estimator who has worked with a general contractor and has a strong background pricing ICI construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience with institutional, healthcare, commercial, industrial, public-sector, dealership, renovation, and fit-out projects.

The successful candidate will be involved in preparing full-scope estimates, reviewing drawings and specifications, coordinating with trades and suppliers, working through tender packages, and supporting the pre-construction process from budgeting through final submission.

Depending on experience, this role may be structured as either a Senior Estimator position or a Chief Estimator role.

For Chief Estimator-level candidates, the role would include leading the estimating function, managing bid strategy, mentoring other estimators, and working closely with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed estimates for ICI construction projects.

Review drawings, specifications,



addenda, and tender documents.

Solicit, review, and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing.

Prepare tender submissions, budgets, scope sheets, clarifications, and closing documentation.

Support value engineering, constructability reviews, and pre-construction planning.

For Chief Estimator-level candidates, lead bid strategy, oversee estimating processes, and mentor team members.

Qualifications Experience estimating ICI construction projects with a general contractor.

Robust understanding of drawings, specifications, scopes of work, tendering, and subcontractor pricing.

Experience with institutional, healthcare, commercial, industrial, public-sector, dealership, renovation, or fit-out projects.

Ability to prepare estimates from conceptual budgeting through tender close.

Leadership experience would be considered an asset for Chief Estimator-level candidates.
