Field Service Technician Overhead Cranes & Industrial Equipment

Location: Dartmouth, NS Compensation: $42$43/hour + Day shift + Overtime + Excellent Benefits Are you an experienced Millwright, Electrician, or Industrial Service Technician looking for a career where every day brings a recent challenge? What Youll Do: Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting on overhead cranes and hoists.

Diagnose electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic equipment issues using testing equipment and technical knowledge.

Complete repairs while ensuring all safety systems and equipment functions are operating properly.

Provide recommendations to customers regarding equipment safety, repairs, and improvements.

Prepare accurate service reports and documentation using digital service tools.

Communicate with customers professionally to deliver exceptional service.

Participate in an on-call rotation and provide after-hours support when required.

Travel to customer sites and work independently in a field service environment.





What Were Looking For: Journeyman Industrial Electrician, Millwright, or equivalent trade qualification.

Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance or field service experience.

Experience with overhead cranes, hoists, lifting equipment, or industrial machinery is highly preferred.

Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.

Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings.

Comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders, and working in industrial environments.

Valid drivers license with a positive driving record.

Solid communication and customer service skills.
