The Public Health Nurse will work closely with the Public Health Nursing Manager to deliver essential nursing services. Expected to make independent decisions, the role is anchored in various health standards and policies. Key tasks include assessing community health needs, liaising with health personnel, and implementing preventive strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing services in community settings
• Assess client health needs according to Public Health standards
• Develop and implement health promotion programs
• Liaise with other healthcare specialists
• Advocate for community health interests
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certificate (BLS-HCP)
• Registered or eligible with CRNS
• Immunization Competencies Course completion
