As a Rehabilitation Aide, you'll work directly under the Occupational and Physical Therapists while being accountable for implementing patient programs. Your role is crucial in helping residents recover and maintain their independence through skill learning and equipment support. Together, we create a safe environment promoting health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in implementing patient programming with therapists
• Communicate resident progress to Nursing and Therapists
• Prepare necessary apparatus and equipment for therapy
• Ensure safety and functionality of adaptive aids
• Teach residents skills for daily living
Requirements:
• Therapy assistant diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in Rehabilitation and Geriatric care necessary
• Knowledge of cognitive impairment is beneficial
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
