This position involves safely handling heavy machinery while performing trenching and ensuring the installation of various utility systems. Your daily work will require inspections and close cooperation with team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy equipment, including excavators and backhoes
• Perform trenching around live utilities with precision
• Install and manage shoring systems for trench safety
• Assist in the installation of gas and hydro utilities
• Carry out daily maintenance inspections on equipment
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of heavy equipment operation experience
• Proven experience working with live utilities
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and work in diverse conditions
• Valid driver’s license required with a clean record
• Must communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written
