As a Machine Operator, you will report to the Production Supervisor and engage with a variety of manual machines. Your role involves meticulous work with engineering prints, component drawings, and machine specifications. Previous experience in a machine shop, ideally with Blanching Machines, is preferred to ensure high standards of production and precision are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and adjust machinery for operations
• Study blueprints and specifications for accurate production
• Verify finished workpiece conformance to specifications
• Select and secure cutting tools and fixtures
• Monitor machining processes and adjust feeds and speeds
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1 year of machine shop experience
• Solid math skills for dimensional calculations
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Familiarity with micrometers and calipers
