Join Nogdawindamin Family and Community Services as a Family Services Clinician in Sudbury, providing vital mental wellness support to adults and families. Focus on holistic approaches using culturally grounded intervention strategies.
This full time clinician role offers a contract running until March 31, 2027. You will be responsible for delivering individual, family, or group therapy to enhance mental health for those aged 24 and up in the catchment area. Experience with Aboriginal communities is highly valued within this impactful position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct therapeutic mental wellness assessments for clients
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions
• Employ culturally grounded intervention strategies
• Strengthen holistic wellness in clients and families
• Adhere to best practices in mental health support
Requirements:
• Master of Social Work Degree or HBSW Degree preferred
• Five years’ experience in adult and family services
• Familiarity with Anishnawbek culture and traditions
• Criminal Records Check required
• Class ‘G’ Ontario Driver’s Licence and vehicle access
