The Opportunity
McElhanney has an opportunity for an Intermediate or Senior Bridge Engineer to join our Kamloops, BC office. This role focuses on structural design, inspection, evaluation, and construction support for bridge projects. It is an excellent chance for an intermediate to senior engineer looking to advance their career in bridge engineering.





You will join McElhanney’s established bridge team, consisting of 45 engineers and technologists dedicated to the design of highway and pedestrian bridges throughout Western Canada. This group is supported by complimentary teams specializing in the design of marine structures, bridge construction supervision, and in plant quality assurance.

Our Interior BC Bridge Team continues to grow, and Kamloops remains a key hub for our bridge engineering practice. In this role, you’ll benefit from strong local mentorship, a supportive team setting, and clear opportunities for professional development and long-term career growth, all while contributing to projects that shape the region’s infrastructure.
