VCH invites talented Registered Nurses (RNs) and Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPNs) to join the Adult Mental Health team. In this role, you will provide care for individuals with concurrent disorders through psychosocial rehabilitation. Your duties will include mental health assessments, crisis intervention, and coordination of services tailored to client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for clients
• Develop and implement individual treatment plans
• Perform outreach visits as needed for client support
• Facilitate support groups and individual counseling sessions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for client care
Requirements:
• Diploma in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
• Two years of experience in mental health services
• Current BCCNM registration as RN or RPN
• Valid BC Driver's License for local travel
• Solid communication and problem-solving skills
