In this role, you will provide essential electrical engineering support for the SABRE mining operations, ensuring optimal performance and compliance. With a minimum of 10 years' experience, you'll develop secure and reliable engineering designs while leading multidisciplinary projects from conception to commissioning. Your expertise in electrical systems will support Orano's commitment to sustainability and low-carbon nuclear power.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design reliable and maintainable electrical systems for mining
• Lead multidisciplinary projects from concept to execution
• Communicate risks related to safety and costs to leadership
• Identify optimizations for existing electrical equipment
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• Eligible for APEGS Skilled Engineer registration
• 10+ years experience in electrical system design
• Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
