Serve as the Cultural Wood Coordinator for the Council of the Haida Nation, guiding citizens through the application process for cultural wood access. This role focuses on collaboration and communication.

Within this full-time position, you'll use your robust communication skills and Office 365 knowledge to develop and implement application procedures. By fostering relationships with wood suppliers, you will enhance access for Haida citizens in need of cultural wood. Responsibilities include managing program communications and assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement application processes for cultural wood access
• Foster relationships with suppliers for wood coordination




• Ensure productive communication for citizens applying
• Compile reports and develop outreach materials
• Represent the program at community meetings and events

Requirements:
• Robust verbal/written communication skills
• Proficiency in Office 365 tools
• Experience in a collaborative team setting
• B.C. driver’s license necessary
• Familiarity with GIS is a plus
